I Stand Corrected

This journal is for those who love language, words, a colorful turn of phrase, or for those who are grammar fanatics. It's for those who love witty writing. (Expect witty writing to be discussed here, but don't necessarily expect to read it here!)

Quick Introduction

So far there are three of us who make regular contributions. We are:

Lori -- A 49 year-old, stay-at-home wife and former home-schooling mom, (who apparently has more hyphens to her description than she realized), who loves to read and write, who didn't seem to have enough AOL Journals/blogs already so decided to start a new one, and who hopes this will be a fun, interesting journal to write and to read.

ADB = Guido, a blogger from the UK. I speak several languages, apart from English, and am a stickler to rules of spelling and grammar. Doesn't mean I don't make misteaks lol. I enjoy wordplay and am notorious for the dreadful pun. Nonetheless, I enjoy writing for the sake of it.

Beth -- a 50-year-old retired microbiologist. Although my field of study was science, I have always been a reader and a lover of words. I see a well-turned phrase as a thing of beauty. I find joy in writing, and even more joy in attempting to write well. I don't always succeed, so there is always room for improvement!
